Christmas Tree Recycling
LONGFIELD HAVE SADLY HAD TO CANCEL THE COLLECTION.
To recycle your tree - you can now:
1) https://www.gloucestershirerecycles.com/ - Pyke Quarry (Horsley) is still open but you need to book.
2) If you subscribe to the garden waste scheme, you can chop it up and put it in the brown bin (collection from 1st Feb)
3) Compost it.

Spreading a little cheer
Leonard Stanley Parish Council joined forces again with Kings Stanley Parish Council to provide 80 families with a small box of treats. We hope this provided a smile and some hope in this most difficult of years.

Remembrance Sunday & Remembrance Day
REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY AND REMEMBRANCE DAY
Sadly, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the normal Remembrance Sunday service and wreath laying at the War Memorial will not be going ahead this year. The Council would discourage any gatherings and remind everyone that the rule of 6 still applies.

Leonard Stanley and Kings Stanley Parish Councils have teamed up to provide free pizza (plus cake, fruit and a drink) for the children of our villages. The inaugural meeting of the LEONARD STANLEY ENVIRONMENT GROUP is to meet in LS Village Hall, on Wednesday 22nd January 2020, 7-9pm.
The aim is to identify and implement changes; to reduce the Carbon Footprint in Leonard Stanley.
