Police and Crime Prevention Plan March 2025
Every Police and Crime Commissioner must have a Police and Crime Plan that sets the priorities for policing. This strategic document, which you can find attached to this email, sets out my aims and objectives which runs until 2029. The Police and Crime plan sets the priorities for the Constabulary to work to and for my office and I to hold them to account. It will also help me to shape my work with partner organisations. The plan was created in consultation with a number of stakeholders and partners across the county. The Plan has six strategic priorities: The Police and Crime Prevention Plan formally comes into place from April 2025. Priority 1: Creating safer communities Priority 2: Tackling violence against women and girls (VAWG) Priority 3: Strengthening your Constabulary Priority 4: Targeting the causes of crime Priority 5: Supporting victims and reducing reoffending Priority 6: Improving trust and confidence in policing The plan is publically available on the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gloucestershire website. Yours sincerely Chris Nelson
